Working for Yourself
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
These days more people are working for themselves and find that not only are they making more money, but they are enjoying themselves more. The Internet has created new opportunities. Best of all, it’s relatively cheap.
There are literally dozens of books and other programs about Internet marketing available to help you get set up. Some are multi-level-marketing (MLM) and others vary quite a lot.
An example of an MLM program that I think is excellent is that with Global Domains International. Why do I like it? Here’s why:
- You get a domain name like http://www.jason-taylor.ws or anything else you choose that is available
- You get site hosting, 10 email addresses, and a site building application
- If you want it, you can sell domain names to others and get a 10% commission
This is only $10 per month for as long as you wish to keep the program going. The best part is that if you sell sufficient domain names you can win healthy bonuses. You don’t even have to have an Internet site or email to sell domain names or business opportunities here.
Here’s an example of the current bonus list which shows bonuses people are getting on top of their 10% per signup for ONE week of signups:
- $2000 earned for 103 signups by David Parnell of Eugene, OREGON
- $100 earned for 5 signups by Eric Nordstrom of APO
Between them are another 25 other people who are earning between $800 and $100.
My question is, if they can do it, why not you?
I’m in this program and while I don’t actively sell it because I have many other things to do, I have a number of downline members who keep paying into the firm every month. Their payments cover my costs for my site at http://www.web-names.ws and every now and then someone new signs up.
Imagine what would happen if you joined and then ACTIVELY sold spots in this program to your friends, people you meet and so on? Even if you only did it to fill in the days between job searching … it would fill in your time constructively and who couldn’t sell at least a couple of spots per week? The program almost sells itself.
Tomorrow I’ll tell you about a guy who spent a deposit he and his wife-to-be had saved on his house to work this program.

True, changing domain names can be complicated, however, here people buy a new domain name and use it from new. If you had an existing site I’d simply redirect the domain name to the old site so that, for example, someone would type http://www.jason-bourne.ws and finish up at http://www.thebournesupremacy.com
